The more I resist, the further I get dragged into the hyper media void. My stats are showing more than 3 hours screen time a day. It’s like a black hole.
So, my way of dealing with things (sometimes) is to draw them. It does have a cathartic effect. Nothing changes but you feel better.

It might be less bad, the virtual world I mean, if the news were not so grim, catastrophic, terrifying. Media compounds the addictive effect of the endless stream of curious/fascinating/amusing cat memes.
The world is, in fact, statistically, a kinder and gentler place than ever before in history. More people are enjoying a higher standard of living globally, there’s less conflict (mind you, the Middle East and Ukraine are testing that), and less crime.
Alas, alas.
